CLICAF's aim of initiating this community construction projects is to save the underprivileged Ghanaian kindergarten kids from the existing death trap structures under which they have their lessons. It also aims at supporting government's policy of eliminating schools under trees. CLICAF volunteer team believes that when we put up modern school blocks for these kids, it will make the teaching and learning environment friendly, motivating, challenging and interesting one to help them excel in their academics with little resources they have. This volunteer project is structured in the form of summer work camps where volunteers perform diverse roles in the building process. Volunteer with us on our community schools construction program to shelter our kindergarten and primary kids.

Requirement/skill:
None Available year round Minimum: 2 weeks Monday- Friday (5hrs each day.) Includes fetching of water, digging, mixing of motor/ concrete, carrying of blocks, cracking stones and painting. (Note: Any volunteer with expertise could made to lead a team.) Our community construction works includes building of school blocks, wash rooms, sign post etc. for kg and primary kids. Volunteer's work at the site include digging, mixing of motor, concrete, carrying of blocks, cracking stones, painting and many more. Whose project will I be volunteering on? These projects are community based which are initiated and founded by CLICAF volunteer team and contributions from other volunteers hence the beneficiaries are the communities we serve. Who will I be working with? Volunteers will work with our dynamic staff, expertise from the rural folks and other international volunteers. Who sponsors the projects? Projects are funded by CLICAF volunteer team together with cheerful contributions from other valuable volunteers.
